Choosing the Best curricula have been reviewed and approved by a team of medical experts that comprise the Choosing the Best Medical Advisory Board:

Dr. Joshua R. Mann, M.D., M.P.H. is a board certified preventive medicine physician. Dr. Mann, currently an Assistant Professor of Clinical Family and Preventive Medicine Division, joined the faculty of the University of South Carolina School of Medicine in 2002 and serves as the Medical Director of Employee/Student Health. Previously, he was the Director of Research at The Medical Institute for Sexual Health, Austin, Texas.

Dr. James D. Mallory, Jr., M.D. received his AB degree in biology from Princeton University and his MD from Duke University, where he also completed his residency in Psychiatry. He is a diplomat of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He was assistant professor of psychiatry at Duke and in 1970 became the director of the Atlanta Counseling Center, where he continues to see patients. Dr. Mallory has authored numerous publications.

Dr. John T. Vessey, PhD., M.A. is currently an Associate Professor of Psychology at Wheaton College. His expertise is in the areas of statistics, experimental design, psychometrics, and program evaluation. Prior to joining the Wheaton faculty in 2001, Dr. Vessey was an assistant professor at the University of Minnesota School of Public Health for three years, and an assistant professor at the Northwestern University Medical School for four years.
